One of the data sets that will be available for tracking in the South West Visitor Economy Hub will be footfall data. This will be provided by a variety of sources; some existing public sector data and some sourced via new third party contracts.

Footfall data is understandably extremely useful data when it comes to giving insight into what is happening in a destination. When this data is available in daily granularity you can really understand how events impact the number of people moving around your destination.
